Today is the day

100 years now! Time does fly by too quick I have to say. At 11:40pm today 100 years ago the Titanic hit an iceberg. And the folowing day at 2:20am it sank.
I love the titanic story as it is super romantic and is real compared to romeo and juliet. The British ship RMS Titanic had 2,223 people onbored. Only 706 survived. That is appaling I think. They let the poorer people die and the richest go in some boats. Then as I found out The dead bodies of the people were classed in money. The rich ones had a coffin and a place on a special graveyard. The medium classed ones only had coffins and the poor one were thrown into the sea in a plastic bag. That is appaling it didn't matter that they had families as long as the rich people were buried in a nice place it didn't matter. Any ways it is a special day so I wanted to make a special blog post. I am in tears whenever I here the story of Titanic.
